BEAUTY REVIEW: Scunci Topsy Tail

I think we've all seen this product on TV.  It's been around a long time because I remember seeing the commercial when I was in high school.  Back then, we didn't have a As Seen On TV store, so we hesitated about buying things off of the boob tube.  Moreover, the Internet was still in its infancy stage, so you couldn't order online or check out any online product reviews.

When I saw the Topsy Tail at Longs Drugs, I was really tempted to buy it because I am always looking for alternative ways to pull back my hair.  I admit that I am usually in a rush to get ready for work and doing my hair is always hastily pulled back into a ponytail.  That week, Scunci products were 50% off at the store, so I bought it.

The Topsy Tail comes with a large and small topsy tail tool.  The product comes with instructions on how to use both tools with pictures of the different hairstyles to create with the tools.  While everyone is most familiar with the standard inverted ponytail created with the large tool, the small tool is my absolute favorite.  By using the small Topsy Tail tool, I can wrap a small section of my hair around the base of my ponytail to completely cover my elastic hair tie.  No bobby pins...no clips...no hair ties with fake hair...just my own hair creating a sleek and elegant look.  It will also stay put throughout the entire day and it only took 10 seconds to create!  I get compliments all the time from ladies asking me how I managed to wrap my hair around my ponytail and got it to stay.  Shh...it's a secret!
